• Qualified as an International Bobath Instructor in Melbourne, 2001, under Mary Lynch-Ellerington of UK
• Attended first Basic Bobath Course 1993, Adelaide
• Graduated from Lincoln Institute of Health Sciences, Melbourne in 1984 with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Physiotherapy
• Varied experience in Rural & Metropolitan settings
• Musculoskeletal, Stroke Unit, Acute Trauma, specialising in Neurological and General Rehabilitation
• Travelled widely in developing nations in Latin America, South-East Asia, the Middle East and Europe
• Volunteer work in Nicaragua

Current Employment

• Part time as Senior Clinical Physiotherapist in Rehabilitation at Goulburn Valley Health, Shepparton, Victoria
• Consultant Physiotherapist to Aged Care facility
• Some private practice
• Extensive teaching commitments throughout Australia; and some involvement in New Zealand and S-E Asia

Professional Aims

• Further develop skills as a Basic Course Instructor
• Promote the teaching of the Bobath Concept to develop the skills of therapists throughout the Oceania Region
• Promote research into the efficacy of the Bobath Concept for the treatment of persons with neurological lesions as well as “musculoskeletal” movement problems
