  • Qualified as an International Bobath Instructor in Melbourne, 2001, under Mary Lynch-Ellerington of UK
  • Completed multiple Advanced Bobath Courses during 1990’s
  • Attended first Basic Bobath Course 1993, Adelaide
  • Graduated from Lincoln Institute of Health Sciences, Melbourne in 1984 with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Physiotherapy
  • Varied experience in Rural & Metropolitan settings
    • Musculoskeletal, Stroke Unit, Acute Trauma, specialising in Neurological and General Rehabilitation
  • Travelled widely in developing nations in Latin America, South-East Asia, the Middle East and Europe
  • Volunteer work in Nicaragua 1991
  • 'Manageable' level of Spanish Language proficiency

Current Employment

  • Part time as Senior Clinical Physiotherapist in Rehabilitation at Goulburn Valley Health, Shepparton, Victoria
  • Consultant Physiotherapist to Aged Care facility
  • Limited private practice in neuromusculoskeletal.
  • Extensive teaching commitments throughout Australia, New Zealand, S-E Asia, Abu Dhabi, UAE

Professional Aims

  • Promote the teaching of the Bobath Concept to develop the Assessment and Treatment skills of therapists throughout the Oceania Region
  • Promote and participate in research into the efficacy of the Bobath Concept for the treatment of persons with neurological lesions as well as “musculoskeletal” movement dysfunction
  • Continue to monitor current developments in neurioscience, and integrate this information into clinical practice.
