The following are the current upcoming courses in the Bobath concept. Further courses, including Advanced courses are being planned, so check back regularly.

PLEASE NOTE: Any queries re course enrolment should go through the given course contact. ABTA places all confirmed courses on the website, unless the course is internal to a particular health service.

"What is Normal Movement?” Courses

These are open to all qualified physiotherapists, occupational therapists. Some courses may be OT or PT specific. Contact convener for further details.

Please note: All "What is Normal Movement" courses have a particular theme. Any of the themes qualify as a prerequisite for the Basic Bobath Course.

Basic Bobath Courses

Prerequisite: Completion of “What is Normal Movement?” course.

Wherever feasible, the courses will now be run in two parts – two weeks, then a final week 2-3 months later.
NB: There is a single case design or essay component to be completed between 2nd and 3rd week of the course.

Prerequisite: 6 months clinical experience following completion of IBITA recognized Basic Bobath Course.
